9 Naked Truth Blogs

Hey there! Welcome back! Get more focus...

Laugh, cry and get hip. These blogs are life-changing. That’s how important they can be to you. These blogs were chosen on the basis of the authenticity of their authors and the quality of information given. These are blogs that I recommend reading if you are like me and committed to constant improvement, want to grow your business or simply enjoy reading about Web 2.0, The Law of Attraction, Search Engine Optimization, or how to blog for money.

1. Best Selling Author Pat O’Bryan’s Blog.

Pat O’Bryan is a Best-Selling author, internet marketer, videographer, musician, and artist. He created the “Portable Empire” system, which is a wonderfully organic and ethical way to make all the money you want doing what you love from wherever you are. I’ve known Pat for about five months and I can honestly say that in the over-hyped, sales-y, and often dishonest ‘fast buck’ culture of Internet Marketing, Pat is like a lighthouse in a storm; guiding wayward would-be marketers to the serene coves of ethical, sound and profitable marketing techniques. I read Pat’s blog because of the reasons stated above and he is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met and he truly enjoys helping others. The things I’ve learned from him have changed me in a positive way- forever. His current blog may look a little dry at the moment, but he’s been in the process of re-vamping his websites lately. Check out his “About” page to get links to his previous two blogs. When you do, take some time to go through them as there is a wealth of information in them.

2. David Ledoux’s Lifestyle Blog.

David Ledoux is a lifelong entrepreneur, author, speaker and trainer. He has been featured on video, radio and has traveled globally speaking to tens of thousands of entrepreneurs on the merits of the Free Enterprise System. He was named the #1 Trainer In The World in 2000 by MLM Insider Magazine. David retired in 2005 at the age of 37 and became a full time blogger. Within 4 months of it’s creation, his blog was getting over 1000 visitors a day. He has become a master of how to create a successful blog and drive traffic to it. I found David very recently through listening to Joe Vitale’s “Hypnotic Gold” interview with him. Using just a little of what I learned from that interview, my blog’s Alexa rating go from “No Rank” to 2,541,792 to 1,830,633 to 999,710, and now 891,346 within the last two months (hey I know it’s not much, but it’s just getting warmed up!) He has also shared at no cost a wealth of accurate and reliable information with me through his intern program (which I half assedly only opened 3-4 of the emails; I am now starting from day one and doing it right). I highly recommend paying his blog a visit and signing up for his ‘intern’ program. David is also a fan of MMA and a practitioner of the martial arts, so we also have something in common there. I, however, don’t get to work out with people like UFC champ Matt “The Terror” Serra; but I did get to work out with some very tough, well respected Brazilians.

3. nate whitehill dot com.Nate is a 23 year old developer and entrepreneur who through Unique Blog Designs has a hand in building some of the most highly trafficked and successful blogs out there, including John Chow, Shoemoney, and David Ledoux, just to name a few. He is also the owner of infinFX, LLC, Marketing Director at PhoneWebinar.com, and is also staffed in some capacity with IDNoptions, LLC.. I read Nate’s blog because he authentically lays it down concerning blogging and any other topic he chooses to address. One day, I hope to hire him to re-design my blog. :)

4. Dion Hinchcliffe’s Web 2.0 Blog.

Don is speaking at the Web 2.0 EXPO in Berlin. Deep, deep, deep information and insight on where the Internet is going, Web 2.0, social networking/media and in-depth analysis and news about the companies/people involved in them. And he makes great graphical charts!

5. John Cow dot com.

The domain was bought from someone who wasn’t doing anything with it for 80.00 in July 07 and made 1000.00 in earnings the same month. One of the slickest looking Web 2.0 blogs out there. A true example of making money online with a blog by simply being irreverent. Humor, cool contests and good information make this a fun read.

6. Courtney Tuttle’s blog.

Courtney is an ex-corporate internet marketing consultant who created a blog all about explaining things to do with making money online in a manner that is easy to understand by the beginner. You can find information on everything from WordPress plugins to free themes to SEO tactics. This blog can help anyone from beginner level bloggers and webmasters to advanced internet professionals. There’s such a wealth of information as well as excellent services available here.

7. Smart PageRank Blog.

Mike Call is a web programming fool that works for Novell. He does SEO work as a part-time passion. He has created several nifty tools, this wonderful blog and an awesome website. 100% free tools, the easy way to check your page ranking.

8. Dr. Joe Vitale At Zero.

Where do I begin with this marketing icon? Joe has gone from being homeless to a multi-millionaire copywriter, Internet marketer, advertising mogul, business consultant and personal development guru. Joe has a multitude of best-selling books, information products, software and DVD/audio programs, and recently I heard he’s about to have his on TV show! Well, he’s already been in the underground runaway success movie “The Secret” and I know he’s been filmed for a couple more, including the second “Secret” film. Joe is the founder and president of Hypnotic Marketing, Inc. The reason I read Joe’s blog is that his products and inspiration have been one of the top-three cornerstones for change in my personal life. His blog provides a wonderful view into his world, provides a steady stream of hope and inspiration, he unflinchingly holds to his beliefs in the face of fierce opposition to some of them by critics and he plays a MEAN harmonica.

9. Gray Wolf’s SEO blog.

Organic Search Engine Optimization – (SEO), Search Engine Marketing – (SEM), Pay Per Click Advertising – (PPC), Social Media Optimization – (SMO), Social Media Marketing – (SMM), Blog Consulting, Online Reputation Management, Website Design, Website Hosting. Michael Gray does it all. As a Webmaster for a major retailer, he helped create their website presence and take online sales from less than $10,000 a month to over $25 million. This speaker, editor and moderator for several major sites has been interviewed for SEO articles in CNET and Forbes.com. the “wolf” serves up regular doses of great content and humor along the way.

I like your thoughts. I read several of these blogs, and I heard from Dave Ledoux through Mr. Fire too. Good find indeed. His intern program truly is amazing.
