Hey there! Welcome back! Get more focus...

Religion VS. Spirituality

There’s a lot of talk about “The law of Attraction” (commonly abbreviated as ‘LOA’) these days.

Maybe you’ve seen the very popular viral movie “The Secret” (or watched it 200 times like some people), or you know about the Law of Attraction and have been trying to make it work. If you have figured out by now or have had the feeling that there is definitely more to it, you are right.

You are also probably beginning to realize that you need to do something else to make it work.

Many people mistakingly believe that if you just be happy and think about what you want, it will appear without them having to actually lift a finger. As much as our pre-packaged, “I want it now, make it easy society” would like, the unfortunate truth is that even knowing about the LOA doesn’t change the way things work on this plane of existence.

You have to take action. And you have to keep on taking action until you get what you want, or something better.

Sorry, that is the way it is…and I’m sorry (not really) if your ‘inner sissy’ can’t take it.

To bad, so sad. Get over it.

You may have heard the saying- “If it’s meant to be, it’s up to me.”Or the famous Henry Ford quote- “Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.”

Well, it’s absolutely true.

Sometimes, a person may even take action towards a supposed goal, but the result is the same: nothing. Many times, those who take action end up with nothing because they are really just like someone who ‘says’ they want something, but does nothing serious towards getting it.

How many of you have spent hundreds or maybe even thousands attending seminars, buying tapes, cd’s and DVD’s (like ‘The Secret’), getting all motivated and pumped up to go and do something…but always seem to fail with yet another beautiful disaster?

How many of you have been that person, even when you knew what you wanted (or thought you did)?

Even having a direction wasn’t good enough, because meeting resistance caused you to turn around.

You went a little ways. You peeked around a corner or two, but never caught sight of the goal.

Why?

Because The Universe doesn’t budge for half steppers.

The Universe will just look at you and blink if you do that. The Universe won’t budge with a scanty little ‘want.’ You’ve got to stoke a fire under your own butt.

You’ve got to develop the courage to get the Universe’s attention.

And once you have it’s attention, you have to keep it. You have to prove you are worthy to use it’s power.

How?

With some serious, balls-to-the-walls, massive and sustained action if you want of knock off some big dreams.

Developing ‘Infinite commitment’.

Those that do not get what they are wanting do not because ultimately, they lack what I call ‘infinite commitment’ that’s required to achieve the stated intention; so when the going gets rough, they simply quit…even when following their passion.Infinite commitment is required to achieve big goals and follow your true passions. You have to be flexible. You have to constantly vary your approach. You have to constantly and consistently remind yourself why you want it, or who it is that you want to become, and you have to continue taking action to move you towards that goal.

I’m not talking about little things like…”I want a candy bar” or something like that. I’m referring to real, meaningful things, big goals and even those seemingly impossible dreams. To you I might be talking about the dreams or life scenarios that you have trouble seeing yourself experiencing. Those goals that if you sit down and try to see yourself in them, it takes some work, and even then the vision can fade out.

You have to really really really want it. You have to develop a burning desire for it.

Yes, you may feel that you are committed, and that may be true, but are you really doing everything you can to succeed? If you aren’t you need to have a sit down with yourself and seriously, with brutal honesty ask yourself if this is really what you want.

Again, “The Key” here is that you can’t half step. To make sure you don’t half-step or falter, you need to be absolutely clear on what you want and WHY you want it. What’s your passion?

You may have heard that anything worth having is hard to get. Now this may or not be true for you or for certain situations, but the truth is that if you are taking action with your full might, aligned with a passion that brings you joy, then chances are that it’s not hard (or you don’t notice if it is) because it is a labor of love. What’s more, when you are in this loving and creative ‘flow’ those positive coincidental things that are spoken of when referring to the Law of Attraction really do begin to appear.

They appear exactly and as surely as — those negative events that keep on happening when you are ‘down in the dumps’ and feeling frustrated and worthless all the time — do.

Keep your eye on the ball. Keep your eye on the prize. Be relentless. You have to keep the ‘WHY am I doing this’ alive. To be someone who has infinite commitment you must cover all of the angles if you want that better life.

One of the angles is ‘getting your mind right’.

And you can get your mind right by going HERE.

Godspeed and blessings.

Carl
